Job Opportunity: Financial Analyst, Business Finance

PhonePe is actively seeking applications from qualified candidates for the position of Financial Analyst within their Business Finance team. The role offers a dynamic and challenging environment where you can contribute significantly to the company’s growth and strategic financial planning.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) or MBA with 0 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel and presentations.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong team player attitude.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in Business Finance.
  • Extensive understanding of financial trends within the company and in the general market.
  • Strong business acumen and an analytical approach to problem-solving. Understanding of general business development and operations Agreements and Contract Review.
  • Previous experience in the Ecommerce/ Start-ups/Consumer Tech sectors is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the financial health of the business and provide category heads with relevant reports.
  • Prepare the annual operating plan (AOP) and outlook.
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations to identify growth and profitability opportunities.
  • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to various stakeholders, recommending further courses of action.
  • Develop complex financial models to support decision-making with Business stakeholders.
  • Develop trends and projections for business growth and finances.
  • Collaborate with other functions, discuss and agree on projects.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives that impact the category.
  • Ensure proper monthly planning, reviews, and closure activities.
